- What time does the rally start?
Gates open at 09.00am close at 05.00pm
- Can I bring my dog?
As long as you keep your dog on a lead, he / she is welcome to come to the Cumbria Steam Gathering with you! Please remember this is agricultural land, so please ensure any faeces are collected and disposed of appropriately.
- Can I camp on site?
We are currently looking into the possibility of having a return of public camping for 2023. Further details in the New Year.
- How can I exhibit at the next event?
In order to reserve space at the next event, you need to fill in either a trader or exhibitor form, available to download from this website on the trader and exhibitor pages early in the New Year. There is also a map of the site available.

- CRAFT
After many years in charge, Jenny Holt has decided to step down from organising bookings for the craft marquee for 2024. We are pleased to announce that regular craft exhibitors Amanda Northcote and Brian Kenyon have agreed to handle bookings for the craft area and they can be contacted on Tel: 01772 780089 (after 7.00pm please)
- How do I find a lost child?
To help reunite lost toddlers and young children, the Cumbria Steam Society provides free wristbands, at the main pay gate, throughout the event.
- Disability Advice
There are wheelchair accessible toilets and a designated free parking area for blue badge holders.
